Breather plug with protective filter

Target: Avoiding water and filth to enter the device; avoiding filth to gather around the breather plug.

Initial issue: the combination of air and dust that develops around the cap leads to the obstruction of the breather.

The solution that we offer is a breather plug with an extra protective filter in technopolymer, which allows to increase the breathing surface and at the same time to protect the breather itself. An adaptor permits to introduce breathers with different dimensions into the same protection cap.

Main technical restrictions:

Optimizing spaces, creating a single geometry able to be interchanged with different dimensions.

This project is limited by the mould’s optimization.
